This week has been filled with lows and highs! We started the week on one of our lowest points ever in farming history. The severe frosts that hit many regions of South Australia caused significant damage to our vineyards. Only recently we lost a large volume of grapes through hail, so for Mother Nature to be so cruel to us again feels very unfair.

We really have no choice other than to dust ourselves off and keep on doing what we do best, and that is to grow and make spectacular wines.

...And spectacular wines we do make, well, according to the judges at the 2024 Riverland Wine Show. 

Last night we attended the gala dinner at Berri and walked away with eight trophies. The jewel was the trophy for The Most Successful Exhibitor. It was a David & Goliath moment! We were up against Accolade, De Bortoli, Yalumba & Angoves. This trophy has not been won by a Riverland-based winery for many years, so to take it home was a very special moment.
